Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota wanted to bring the full breadth of its services under one site and improve usability. As one of the state’s largest nonprofits, its services span a wide range of audiences and locations.
I worked closely with our UX lead in creating the new site structure and helped interview dozens of stakeholder groups to understand what was most important for each audience to know. I wrote the majority of the site and provided UX and SEO training to LSS staff.
MnSCU (now Minnesota State) requested training to strengthen site content for adult learners across its schools.
I partnered with our UX lead to create a guide providing research-based information on adult learners’ priorities when they are deciding on a college or university, what keywords to consider using within content, and where within the user flow the content would be most relevant.
